Iron separators
The iron remover constitutes the main element of the water treatment plant. The filter removes iron compounds contained in water in different (soluble, colloidal or suspended) forms. The waters containing iron in such forms are nearly colourless and transparent having been drawn from the well but, once boiled or exposed to air, they turn brown and precipitation of rusty iron compounds deposits occurs.
The use of such water results in iron compounds contamination of water systems, sanitary facilities and all home appliances in contact with water. De-ironing of water is performed in two stages. First, the water is aerated by an aspirator positioned between the pump and pressure tank and then passed through the filter bed. The compounds precipitated in de-ironing process are trapped in the filter bed and periodically removed during counterflow.
